"One of the reason why Lin Cheung won the Françoise van den Bosch Award is because of her communicative qualities. In a way her work is very humanistic. It's not shouting, but it wants to relate to the world and to people who are open to it. It's not only talking to the contemporary jewellery scene per-se, it's talking to a much wider audience. I think that's important at this moment".
